Level Up

Let's set ourselves up to have a much greater 2013.

Favourite Outfits of 2012

2012 has come to an end & I thought I'd share my favorite outfit posts of the past year :)  This post is also an opportunity for me to say thank you to all of my lovelies for voting for me in the SA Blog Awards. I won Best Fashion Blog :)  I am so excited, & happy that i have so many loyal supporters of this blog.

I love this Halloween look. Pale-faced make-up, my Jeffery Campbell's & my House of Holland tights.

Love these metallic jeans from Woolworth's. The 2 gold rings above are my favorites, although I did lose the triple finger pyramid ring in Hong Kong  back in September :(

I had to include this chilled look. I'm a Durban girl. I love my Roxy shorts :)

Going to see Lady Gaga was one of the best things about 2012. I loved every second of that weekend. I made the top, I love the faux leather shorts, & I die for the red studded platforms :)

These John Lennon sunnies make me so happy. I love love love them. And this is my favorite dress that I bought back in 2011 from YDE. Its still a favorite :)

Happy New Year to you all!!!

All About Her

Just got home from spending all day with my mom. Feeling so grateful to have the kind of strong and supportive woman like her, throughout those times of joy and hardship. No one can replace her in my heart. To make her proud will always be one of my biggest goals.

Fine jewels at Oro Bello Musgrave

Jewellery has never been my thing, but I have been so lucky to experience & see some of the cool goodies i have while being the Musgrave Centre Professional Shopper. I would have never walked into a jewelry store like Oro Bello, unless I was probably looking for a wedding ring, because that is probably the only real jewelry I will ever wear. Oro Bello has a stunning selection of watches, pendants, Nomination bracelets & rings, just to mention a few of the things they have to offer.

Customer service is always something I take special note of, & the service at Oro Bello is awesome. Not only are the staff friendly & helpful, but the owners of the store are also very much involved in everything. They are obviously very passionate about their business & that really comes through when they speak about the different things that they offer in store, & it is what sets them apart from other jewelers.

Nomination bracelets allow you to create a unique bracelet that may symbolize a number or people, places & memories. You choose the links, so it is unique & special to you. Combinations are endless, & collecting new links is something that can last a lifetime. I think this a great gift for the special people you treasure in your life. Be it to say "I love you", or "Welcome home from a world tour", or a collection of their favorite things. You can say it all :)

This is the You-Cool collection from Nomination. These copper bracelets come in 10 different colors, which each have a different meaning, and are said to provide you with a burst of energy due to the real energy conducting of copper

The Thomas Sabo range is also available in store.

The Georgini range is exclusive to Oro bello & is absolutely stunning. Go see it ;)

Oro Bello has a Tanzanite collection too.

TOPSHOP Launches in Durban

Yay Topshop finally opened in Gateway, Durban! Lucky fish right?! We are finally welcoming the trend setting UK brand to the east coast. And by the picture below, it is clearly evident that the Durbanites were more than keen!!!

I luckily didn't have to stand in the queue that consisted of a few hundred people. And I did get to see the store before the general public so I am one absolutely fortunate young lady!

Edcon are the retailers that have teamed up with Topshop to bring them to South Africa, and the most exciting news is that people with Edgars accounts can buy from Topshop/Topman using their Edgars card. And you can gain Thank You points too. I don't have an Edgars card, but i think this is sooooo darn clever of Edcon. Many South Africans may avoid these international brands because without even going inside they think they cannot afford it, and so by offering great fashion on credit, they are making it more accessible. That's why I'm crushing on Jurgen Schreiber - what a clever man!!!

Hot short shorts!!!

I want all of these!!! Eek :)

How handsome does this shop assistant look in his suit! I love this pic :)

A man can never have too many T-Shirts!

This is my goodie bag contents, except for the grey dress. However, I did use my 15% off voucher to purchase the dress so technically it is apart of the goodies i received from Topshop. lol
