To Get A New Look

Last Saturday, I got an offer to try out the upcoming Japanese top hair studio in town , Shunji Matsuo by Hisato. It is located in Dharmawangsa Square The City Walk 2nd Floor Unit 38-40 Jl. Dharmawangsa VI & IX, South Jakarta.
Some information to share about Shunji Matsuo, the man behind the salon, he is a renowned celebrity hairstylist. His creative hairstyles have been featured on the top fashion runways of leading designers, such as, Jean Paul Gaultier, Oscar de la Renta, Comme des Garcons, Yohji Yamamoto, Donna Karan and Calvin Klein. His creations have also featured in the top US fashion magazines like American Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, New York Magazine and The New York Times.
Well, for what it's worth, I'd like to share a bit of my experience having my hair-makeover. Firstly, I had some discussion with one of the hairdresser, Subasinghe Yuuta, about what he's going to do with my hair. I was pretty nervous when he said that he's going to dye my hair, because I've actually never done it before. The most I've ever done is perm my hair. But, I thought I want to give it a try.
And, it was actually a great decision I made. Because it turned out, I absolutely love the results. Couldn't even think of any more words to say, I was extremely happy with my new hair. Not only me, my boyfriend also got a hair-cut by the other hairdresser, Sugai Shunsuke, and I think he looks much better.

Thanks so much Sugai-san and Yuuta-san from Shunji Matsuo by Hisato Hair Studio! We both are totally satisfied with our new hair.

First Impression

This is what usually happen to my hair. I have an oily scalp. My hair gets greasy so quickly, especially during my office hour and getting more greasier as the day goes on. Since I also have very thin hair, the most common annoying thing to happen, it turns out making me look so dull. Eventually, having an oily scalp also causes hair-loss.
Oh,can you imagine how I really want to get rid of this? Been suffering to get a perfect hair-care to over this unsightly situation.

Until the offer to review the Elseve Nutri-Gloss Light series came to me, I was very interested to try these products, both shampoo and conditioner.
I have had them since last week, and after several days using, in my opinion, I can feel that both of these two products worked effectively together. Plus, the products contained Pearl Protein combined with Citrus, which is very interesting combination.

They made my hair feels so clean and looks shiny. Even more, my hair feels lighter than before without looking flat, due to that I always want to play with my hair..hehehe... Not forget to mention, the best part is, they both smell really really nice.

Well,I guess to find one that works for you will take some time, but since these products worked pretty well on me, I will definitely gonna switch to them and give them a try. They also won't cost you a lot of money (FYI. they come up with the new price, Shampoo (180ml/200ml): Rp.19.900, Conditioner (180ml): Rp.22.000). So what to wait? For those who suffer the same hair problem like me, I highly recommend you to try them.

And now, I'm so ready to go to work without worry too much about my oily hair.
Thanks L'Oreal for giving me the opportunity. Definitely "World Class Hair Care is in Our Hands".

Fun-Filled Gathering

Got invited from Fashionesedaily to a very special gathering for bloggers on Sunday, 9 May 2010 at The Edge - Rooftop Kemang Icon Hotel. It was totally an awesome experience because we (the bloggers) had a chance to get introduced to a world-renowned hair stylist, Jamal Hammadi. He has worked with some of the most well-known names in Hollywood, such as Heather Graham, Sharon Stone, Naomi Watts, Lindsay Lohan and many more. His great work also has been featured in British Vogue, British Elle, Vanity Fair, Nylon, among others. Additionally, Jamal also has styled on the New York and Paris runways for Chanel, Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, and John Galliano. Pretty cool, huh?

Anyway, for those who have always longing for shiny hair, you could try these Jamal's tips :
  • Start with a great cut-take care of the ends of your hair for healthy shine
  • A clean scalp ensures healthy hair
  • Be gentle when drying your hair after cleaning, the more you rough it up, the more cuticles you will damages
  • Vitamin E is vital for luscious locks. It's found in foods such as avocados, berries and nuts.
  • Rinse your hair with cold water after washing to seal the cuticles and lock in moisture and shine
  • Use a good bristle brush rather than a comb to prevent breakage
  • Make sure you pump your iron intake. Iron will give hair a fantastic shine. I always advise my clients to eat lots of good proteins and vegetables.
Well, now I guess let's just stop the written words, it's time to see some snapshots from the fun-filled gathering.

Enjoy!

Thanks Fashionesedaily!
