HOT Editorials: RISE of the AMAZONS

I love finding hot fashion editorials that make my heart beat a bit faster, and this is one of them. I love the concept. And who wouldn't want to be termed an Amazonian???

What do you think? Hot or Not?

An Opportunity

Just have been able to rounded up some of the looks I styled for MANGO Fashion Show on last Jakarta Fashion Week. And honestly, I can't help but feel grateful for such an amazing opportunity.

Thanks to MANGO Indonesia.

RIRI WoWs me again!!!

If you are a Rihanna fan like myself, well then you have to have seen the digital booklet that accompanies her latest album - TALK THAT TALK. These photographs are just fierce, and so Rihanna.

My favourite song on the album has to be WE FOUND LOVE. And just when I thought I couldn't hear it enough, I saw the video, and then I loved it more. I have to say my favourite part of the video has to be the narration at the beginning by model Agness Deyn:

It's like you're screaming, and no one can hear
You almost feel ashamed
That someone could be that important
That without them, you feel like nothing
No one will ever understand how much it hurts
You feel hopeless; like nothing can save you
And when it's over, and it's gone
You almost wish that you could have all that bad stuff back
So that you could have the good

I think it's just? so beautiful and so tragic at the same time. We all want someone to love, and for that person to love us in return. Nobody wants to be alone. Nobody wants to be hurt. And sometimes it's really difficult to pick ourselves up and move forward. It's just so poetic, and so true you know. It's real. I relate to it.

Enough of all that love talk now. Aaw hell Riri got me all emotional here lol.

Here are the pictures I am in love with :)

If you haven't seen the video, here it is :)

ber-Stylish

Stylish girl Catalina Zuluaga strikes a pose while promoting her new pop up store called ZUBE. The shop is located in Bogota and will open its doors until December 24. Thirty four Colombian designers curated and selected by Catalina and her partner Natalie Berg currently present their unique collections at the store.  Don't miss it if you're in town!

Step aside Kate - here's Lottie!!!

Ok so Im not exactly Kate Moss' biggest fan, but you have got to give her props for being one of the most infamous & successful models of all time. The English model is still giving the new it-models a run for their money at the age of 37. But there's one young up-and-comer that Kate is all too happy to let take the reins - her half-sister Lottie. The only unfotunate thing about Kate's little sister is her name! You've gotta be English right?! Yes, being the little sister of THE KATE MOSS will help her career, but I think she could become a great model in her own right.

Here are a sneak peak at Lottie Moss' first ever photoshoot, shot by photographer Andrea Carter Bowman. I simply love her in these photographs!!! What do you think? Does 13 year old Lottie have what it takes?

HOW TO: Brightly coloured liquid liner

I love love love the 60's sex kitten! She's fun and flirty and has equally fab make-up. Here is a little how to by Tania Braukmper. This look will have you feeling anything but unnoticed!

Step 1:
Start with at flawless base. Apply a powder blush at the apples of the cheeks, lightly blending up along the higher planes of the cheeks then blending softer to the hairline.

Step 2:
Lightly conceal the outer edges of the eyes to keep them looking fresh and to provide a base for the eye liner.

Step 3:
Apply the black liquid liner first using a fine brush. Start by lining the inner corner of the eyes and winging 3/4 of the way up the mobile lid, elongating at the edges.

Step 4:
Next apply the coloured liquid liner, in this case a yellow liner gel, closely following the shape of the black liner.

Step 5:
Apply a set of full bar lashes to thicken the lash line for a truly mod makeup look. Make sure you cut the lashes to size.

Step 6:
Add a light cream shadow with a hint of sheen to open up the eyes

Step 7:
Follow along the inner corner on the lower lashine with the cream shadow.

Step 8:
Bring out lashes by adding mascara, making sure to separate between coats.

Step 9:
To create full glamorous brows fill in the brows using an eye shadow matched closest to the brow colour and apply using upward motions with an angle brush. Set with brow gel.

Finish with a contrasting lip colour in a bright shade to really make the look pop.

Et voila!!!

Hope you enjoyed that as much as I did! I cannot wait to rock my swinging 60s mod make-up!
