A few weeks ago I took to my Facebook page asking readers what they wanted to see next on my Youtube channel. Well, one of the main requests was to see how I do my daily face routine, & what products I use to achieve the look. Enjoy!

The Stila palettes have had everybody raving about them & had me feeling MAJOR FOMO! I started asking EVERYONE on twitter & Facebook which of the palettes they had or preferred. The most common answer was the IN THE LIGHT palette. And now that i have it, I can absolutely understand why. While the other palettes are all great with a beautiful range of colors, this is by far the most wearable & "universally friendly" palette. I can easily see women with of all skintones using the colours in this palette. It is a great mix of shimmer & matte eye shadows. And let's not forget taht it comes with a smudge stick eye liner in the shade Damsel. 10 eyeshadow colours you are sure to use is a bargain at R399 - you can purchase it via Style36 here - where I might add you receive a FREE make-up bag & 3 Lip Glazes when you spend R450 or more.
This palette is great for when you are travelling as it has 10 shades that can create many looks. When I travel next this is sure to come with me! I will be posting a YOUTUBE video on the different looks you can create using this Stila In The Light palette. Sound good? Well be on the look for it :)
For now, if you want to see each of the beautiful colours included in this palette, be sure to click READ MORE below :)

YAY!! Finally sharing with you what I thought of the Topshop nail polish & lipstick I bought a few weeks ago! Now I know that you have all seen the lipstick worn sooooo much, but that is just how much I love it!
Below are some of my thoughts, but please do watch the video :)
Name: TIDAL
Price: R69.99 - very reasonable.
Colour: Pale blue. Kinda looks a bit grey, but it is not.
Quality: Long lasting. Doesn't chip easy.
Removal: Easy to come off. Doesn't require a base coat.
Name: Rumours & Lies
Price: R79.99 - very reasonable.
Colour: Burgundy. Got lots of compliments on this colour.
Quality: Long lasting. Doesn't chip easy.
Removal: Used about 8 cotton pads for both hands. Definitely requires a base coat. Nails were stained.
Name: Pillar Box
Price: R69.99 - very reasonable.
Colour: Red. Love love love!
Quality: Long lasting. Doesn't chip easy.
Removal: Same as burgundy. Lots of cotton pads used. Needs a base coat.
I absolutely love this lippie like you have no idea! It is a matte purple-burgundy colour "Inhibition" that is just delicious! It costs R119 which I think isn't the cheapest, but is is so worth it! I would buy this over MAC. Love!!!

27 PINKX challenged myself & a few other awesome blogging girls to a Winter Make-Up Challenge where we had to choose our favourite winter make-up trend & translate it on a budget of R350!! We also had to use the pretty pink brushes from 27PINKX (available here for R370). The inspiration behind my look was the Jill Stuart Fall runway make-up: Lilac Smokey Eyes.
I won't lie, shopping on a budget of R350 was not the easiest thing to do. I shopped at Clicks Gateway, & although they do stock a wide variety of brands, there weren't that many budget-friendly brands (in my opinion). Also, brands like Essence didn't have their shelves fully stocked with product so you sort of had to make do with what was on the shelves. I had lots of help from the lovely sales girls, & although I wish I had gotten more, I think I did a pretty descent job with what I did have :)
Products I used:
Charlie Longwear Foundation R79.99
Essence Silky Touch Blush R34.99
Essence 2 in 1 Mascara R44.99
Yardley Expert Eyes Gel Liner R 69.99
Accessoeize Lipstick in OBSSESSED R69.99
Essence 3D Duo Eyeshadow in Irresistible Purr-ple R 39.99
Brown Eye Pencil R5
TOTAL = R344.94
This is probably how my face looked the entire time I was shopping hahaha

Accessories, Bags & Shoes!!! Haul alert! Here is my haul video, & a few shots of my goodies. Not everything is in the photos so be sure to have a look at the video.
I bought this super cool OPINicki Minaj Mini nail polish set when I was in Hong Kong, & I did my nails using 2 of the polishes from the set: FLY (Turquoise) & METALLIC FOR LIFE (Glitter).
OPI is one of my favourite nail polish brands & this is just what you expect from OPI quality nail polish. I love that the names of the nail polishes are inspired by some of Nicki's songs. I only have 4 of the 6 polishes in the set, and my favourite has got to be Metallic For Life. What can I say, I'm a sucker for glitter :)
Have you tried any of the polishes from this collection? What do you think?
Heard of Kiehl's? I'm sure you have! Well 2012 saw the launch of Kiehl's first store in South Africa - Sandton to be exact. I was super exited for the possibilities of a brand like Kiehl's being made available here.
Kiehl's sent me a huge hamper of goodies from their range, & I decided that I would try Kiehl's for 1 month & do an honest review based on what I experienced. I figured I would start with the Ultra Facial Oil-Free 3 Step Cleanser, Toner & Moisturiser. This test trial started 2 days before I left for China, and I used it for the entire time I was there, and so for the past month & a half have only used Kiehl's in my skincare routine. This is the only way I could give a proper product review.
And what do I think? Well watch my video review below to find out more!
I use these 3 products daily - religiously!
This UV Defense moisturiser is great! It's SPF 50+ !!!
Here are some pictures of the Sandton store...
And if you can't get to the Sandton store - fear not!!! Everyone in South Africa can get access to Kiehl's through their partnership with Edcon. All you have to do is call the Edgar's Fashion Hotline on 0860 692 274 to request the specific products they are looking for and choose to either have it delivered to their closest Edgars store (free of charge), or delivered to their homes anywhere in SA, at a charge of R50, within 5-7 days. The service is only available to customers in SA. So simple!!!
