Fall/Winter 2012 has brought us plenty of trends to choose from. One of my all time favorites will continue to be GOLD. Baroque inspirations, ombre fabrics, ladylike metallic skirts or intricate embroideries were shown on the catwalks and will soon be in every store around you. That quote from Bo Derek is too true!!! My energy levels were so low this morning, but as soon as I entered the doors of the mall I was happy. So there I was off to the mall to see the new ZARA store that just opened here in Durban. In case you don't know about Durban, we're super laid-back and chilled, and so is our style. My typical mall look is shorts & a T. So today was no different, a cute denim skirt & a black tank, paired with iPanema slops. And let's not forget the body chain & cross earrings to finish off the look!!!

I die for this body chain!!! I bought it after looking at it a million different times.

ZARA finally opens in DURBAN!!!!

I spent my entire Friday at work unable to concentrate on anything!!! My heart and soul simply were not there. They were at the grand opening of ZARA at Gateway Theatre of Shopping in Durban! So today, I made it my mission to head to the mall and see the store of the brand I am oh so in love with. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. WOW!!! The only sad thing is that I wish I erned more money so that I could buy EVERYTHING!!! lol. I did still manage to make a purchase, an awesome grey t-shirt dress. I cannot wait to wear it :) I can tell you now, this is where my money will be spent from now on!!!

Black Leather Season

All over my favorite winter catwalks and all over my wish list. The return of leather is exactly what we had been waiting for n'es-ce pas? I'm so excited about pencil skirts, dresses, pants and coats in this luxurious material that I'm already preparing my wallet. In this case, I would recommend to opt for new exciting silhouettes to be paired with lace, silk or why not, some more leather!
