New Years Eve Party Dress INSPIRATION

Thank you for the overwhelming response regarding suggestions for the blog come 2014. I am so excited for some of the new ideas I've received, & look forward to putting these posts together for you in 2014. 

My vision for the Fashion by Brett Robson blog is essentially personal style, & showcasing ideas to inspire the use of affordable, fashionable pieces in your closet. This post is a perfect example of some of the inspiration I would like to share with you. If I was going out on New Years Eve, this is how I would dress. The Printed Dress {OOTD}

How pretty is my dress?! Im all sorts of bias on this one as it's a dress I worked on at work. If you remember my post on my career. Basically this is the final product of something the company I work for has done for our awesome customer The Hub. I literally was there making sure the fit was right & all other random details but yeah, I just love seeing something come to life. 

** I thought I would try a different image size. What do you guys think?

How HOT is this dress!!! Oh my word guys, this dress makes me feel so damn sexy I kid you not.  It's not that obvious sexy, but rather that grown up sexy feeling you know. Hot !gloo has some other pretty cool pieces that you can check out here.

Today is just a beautiful day in Durban as well, so perhaps that is helping my mood along. There was a slight drizzle as I got in the car & headed to work after shooting these, but still the sun was shining. I hope you all are having an amazing day just like me!

Valentines Outfit Idea:Colour-Block Dress

This dress is the star of today's outfit post!! I love the combination of lilac & peach in this color block dress & I actually think it compliments my skin tone quite well :) I decided on neutral accessories as the dress is the focus of the look, but I couldn't resist my Rimmel lipstick "Firecracker".  It's been so hot & humid in Durban lately, this dress was such a savior as its so light & makes you instantly feel cool.

This dress is perfect for a casual date, picnic or a lunch / breakfast date on Valentines Day. The colors are on trend, & the silhouette is flattering. If you haven't checked out the Pretty Please website, you absolutely must. They're a local online shop, that stocks women's clothes & accessories. A great place to look for Valentines Day outfits don't ya think?! And PS... They offer FREE DELIVERY too!! Yep I know that has you sold :)
