To be honest, I have never been a fan of low heels... The thing is, as I get older (and I'd like to think: wiser), my priorities have shifted a little. Don't get me wrong, I will always love to look taller, chicer and more sophisticated but I have to admit that now, comfort is an issue. Surprisingly, designers have been thinking about our well being lately. The new heels they have designed for us will take you from day to night without losing your chic. Some of the most influential ladies in fashion have already been sporting them around and I suggest you give them a try. 

These are some of my favorite options for kicking off your towering heels this season in style. Keep in mind that stilettos are a secret weapon to be used whenever possible.

YAY!! Who doesn't love coming home to a few boxes filled with shoes!!! Yesterday was not only my first day back at work, but also a day that I was getting through on 2 hours sleep (Having trouble sleeping of late), & so this lovely surprise was most welcome. 

I was so lucky to WIN a R2 000 voucher to spend at ZANDO on anything I wanted. Their #FindYourStyle campaign was so cool & interactive, I think I might've described my style as being a DIVA. Or something like that. lol. But let's be honest here. I can be a bit of a Diva every now & then so I guess its quite fitting. Well, with the R2000 voucher, I decided to spend it all on shoes. I love shoes!!! I had so much fun fitting on shoes at Vittoria Musgrave Centre :) I absolutely had to share some pictures with you. The blue denim shoes pictured above are wedges, and oh so comfortable! The shoes below are by POLO & are so chic, I dont have words for them lol.

Loving me right about now!!!

WoW this has been a crazy few weeks! Exhausted does not begin to explain. I do promise to post some awesome posts this coming week. Im really excited that Fashion by Brett Robson has reached over 70 000 pageviews :) We are actually about 500 away from 73 000!!!! Im all smiles about that. Camilla Skovgaard SHOES!!!

Camilla Skovgaard graduated in 2003 with a First Class Honours degree in Footwear Design, Marketing and Product Development from the acclaimed Cordwainers College, alma mater of Jimmy Choo and Patrick Cox, in London UK.  Prior to formal training as a cobbler Camilla worked in the Gulf Arab luxury market for seven years designing couture garments for the Sheikh families.

Camilla Skovgaard is driven by style and form aesthetics rather than short-lived fashion trends and reckons good design to be nearly invisible to the naked eye because it is judged on how it feels, how it fits, how it makes you move, it is attributes such as these that define Camilla Skovgaard.

Loving Lara Bohinc!!!

I'm really doubting my magazine reading skills right now lol. Designer Lara Bohinc has been featured in my favourite magazines on numerous occasions, & I am only seeing her work now! Originally a jewellery designer, Lara decided to branch out into shoes. Basing her first shoe collection on her unique jewellery.

I absolutely love her work, both jewellery & shoes. She uses materials such as leather, suede, & python. And who doesn't love them some 11cm heels!! Lara Bohinc is truly a multi-talented designer.
