The 2013 Vodacom Durban July has been my best year yet! I was in the Miller marquee aka Miller Boomtown (in the VVIP area) - & awesome people like 2 Chainz, AKA & Kuli Chana performed. I had an amazing time with great company :) I shot these photos before the event, & I have to say I am quite impressed with the look I put together. I wanted to also show you guys that attending a HUGE event like this doesn't necessarily mean you have to fork out money of designer threads. You can go for a mix n match look too. I have also included a video on Essentials for attending an all day event below.

First OOTD of 2013 & I am super amped to get out many more for you lovelies! I am absolutely in love with this white on white look. Most of the pieces are from Mr Price - I'm sure you noticed lol. I was meant to shoot a look on the weekend but it rained & so my look was delayed, but I think this was worth the wait right? This year I really want to push outfit posts because, essentially that is one of the things many readers have mailed me about. So I am super keen to get my looks out there & to inspire all of you! Also, expect to see some Monochrome Monday posts & The Change Up coming soon to the blog. 2013 is going to be a fun year! Let's embrace change & strive to  better ourselves in every way.

Favourite Outfits of 2012

2012 has come to an end & I thought I'd share my favorite outfit posts of the past year :)  This post is also an opportunity for me to say thank you to all of my lovelies for voting for me in the SA Blog Awards. I won Best Fashion Blog :)  I am so excited, & happy that i have so many loyal supporters of this blog. 

 I love this Halloween look. Pale-faced make-up, my Jeffery Campbell's & my House of Holland tights.

Love these metallic jeans from Woolworth's. The 2 gold rings above are my favorites, although I did lose the triple finger pyramid ring in Hong Kong  back in September :(

I had to include this chilled look. I'm a Durban girl. I love my Roxy shorts :)

Going to see Lady Gaga was one of the best things about 2012. I loved every second of that weekend. I made the top, I love the faux leather shorts, & I die for the red studded platforms :)

These John Lennon sunnies make me so happy. I love love love them. And this is my favorite dress that I bought back in 2011 from YDE. Its still a favorite :)

HOT Ad Campaign: Candice Swanepoel for Agua de Coco

 

If you read my blog often - you will know of my ultimate dream of becoming a swimwear designer. I genuinely want to create awesome, sexy, fun swimsuits, much like that of Agua De Coco - and when  saw this ad campaign for their Spring/Summer 2013 Collection, I fell in love! Like seriously I like died! If this doesn't get you excited for stunning weather and laying on the hot sand then I don't know what will.

For all the fashionistas up north - I'm sorry you have to wait until next year.

But as for me - I couldn't be more excited for Summer to come - Bring on the heat!!!
