China / Hong Kong Snaps Part 1

 

Finally uploading some China pics!!! Yes after being home for over a week I have avoided having to edit, update and all that.Oh and in case you didn't know - there is NO TWITTER, NO FACEBOOK & NO Blogger in China!!! You can imagine my HORROR not being able to update everything I did. Luckily for Instagram or I would have died ( @brettrobson ). This batch of pics are mainly from my Instagram feed but I will be uploading more pictures in the next few days. Honestly though, actually didn't get to take as many pictures as I had hoped for. I was there for work so I really only had a chance to do my own thing in the evening - alone lol. You know I don't mind my own company right?! Anyway, I had an AMAZING time & I am super excited to share this with you guys.

Call It Versatile

Denim shirt has always been and will always be one of my basic pieces that I wore overtime again and again. Whether I wear it buttoned up or down, tucked in or out, under a cozy sweater or blazer, even as part of denim-on-denim look. It never seems go out of style and most likely works perfectly with my other wardrobe staples. And currently, I'm in love with this crisp button-down denim shirt from LEVI'S�. I really dig the figure-flattering cut of the shirt that comes from an easy body-skimming fit along with feminine tailoring. Just exactly what I needed!

She is definitely one of my favourite supermodels, and seeing her model for a brand I truly admire is even better. All About Comfort

If I got to choose a pair of comfortable jeans to wear all day long, a pair of laid back boyfriend jeans is actually one of my favorite wardrobe essentials. Just tried on my boyfriend's Levi's� Men's 511� Skinny Jeans which surprisingly very comfortable and fit me just fine without being too baggy. Quickly became one of my favorites!
To keep my look easy and effortless, I rolled them up and paired them with a classic structured white shirts and patent tassel loafers. Perfect outfit for kicking around on the weekend.

This will be my first time reviewing about nail polish. As you may noticed, I rarely post about beauty products, but this one has really caught my attention. So, I just stumbled upon these "dynamic duo" from Ozotic Mish Mash collection, #534 and China Glaze Hunger Games Collection, Smoke and Ashes. I must say, I'm currently in love with them.
After applying two coats of China Glaze Hunger Games Collection, Smoke and Ashes then finished it with one coat of Ozotic Mish Mash collection, #534, as the top coat, the first thing I noticed is that they both go perfectly together bringing out those stunning iridescent holographic effect. Making my nails immediately look so fabulous. And needless to say, it also goes with pretty much everything in my wardrobe.

You know those days when you just want to look effortlessly casual yet comfy? I might say, that's just me at the moment. As for that, I chose over this flattering chunky sweater from Levi's�.
What makes the most out of it? I just love how cozy the sweater is, particularly because it made from soft wool fabric. And by pairing with basic cropped pants is practically a simple way to pull off an easy go-to ensemble at once.

Spring Summer 2012 Hair Trends

I am excited to share with you my favourite hair trends for Spring/Summer 2012 - for one - the ponytail is back. But did it ever actually go out of fashion? As versatile as ever, the ponytail was worn low & flat at Reed Krakoff and Ports 1961; as opposed to the Marc by Marc Jacobs runway where we saw the pony tucked under and sectioned off; & who can forget the damp, slicked pony at  Diesel Black Gold and Donna Karan. Personally, I don't wear my hair in a ponytail much but I'm certainly keen to update my look by trying something different. Rather than save your pony for in between washes - why not make your pony a fashion statement?!

Glistening hair has got to be the most interesting hair trend for me - I don't necessarily see myself wearing my hair in this supposedly "low maintenance" hairstyle, but I could try it one day when I'm bored. Hairstylist Guido championed the trend at numerous shows, saturating strands with argan oil to arrive at a glossy finish all over or just at the roots. And well, I just love the idea of wearing my bright lipstick with it. What do you think?

The beach wave has gotten an update this season - a loose, louche curve in the hair that had models on the catwalk simply oozing effortless cool! And it looks absolutely easy to do. The street-ready style only requires a rough blow dry, subtle curl with the iron, and raking through with the hands to create the right amount of undone-ness.

I have kind of tried this next trend. But couldn't resist attempting to use green chalk on my black hair! A-List celebs have tried this look & I'm sure we've all seen the magazine spreads featuring this candy coloured hair. The Dip Dye hair trend is bold & daring - & I love it!!!

In my opinion - Tissue Oil is one of the most important skincare products. I have used various brands of Tissue Oil & am always eager to try new oils so that I can find the one that is right for my skin. Because let's be honest - we're all different! That being said - I was super excited  to find a lovely package from Busby Natural Oils on my desk. Busby's LIQUID GOLD Pure Tissue Oil is all natural & suitable for sensitive skin - which is especially cool if you're a mom. This tissue oil is suitable to be used for Scars, Wrinkles, Dehydrated skin, & even for facial application.

I have been using this product for a few days now, &  must tell you that I am impressed. Going from Winter to Spring - my  skin has suffered, & i am loving how soft & moisturised my sin has been since using Busby Tissue Oil. I have a scar on my arm from a tempered glass TV stand incident & for me, that will be the true test of this product. So, for the next month - I will let you know exactly what the results & final verdict is.
