Me + Vintage -- seriously?! If you follow this blog, you will know that almost never wear vintage pieces. However, I have found 2 pieces that I just had  to have! I love the vintage chain belt that I am wearing a necklace, this is a super cute piece that just makes me think of some royal wearing her diamonds & pearls lol. The other piece is the denim vest which is so major - seriously in love!!!

 

 

 

What's the verdict friends? Should I do vintage more often?

My Limited Edition GHD Cherry Blossom Hair Straightener

 

We LOVE LOVE LOVE GHD!!!! I am seriously such a lucky girl! I received this awesome - gorgeous - beautiful Limited Edition Chery Blossom GHD Hair Straightener! How pretty is are the pink plates? And let's not forget the embroidered carry bag - which I might add is heat resistant. Here are some of the other goodies I got from GHD South Africa - a brush set & styling products!!! an you believe it guys - I am sooo grateful.

HOT Ad Campaign: Candice Swanepoel for Agua de Coco

 

If you read my blog often - you will know of my ultimate dream of becoming a swimwear designer. I genuinely want to create awesome, sexy, fun swimsuits, much like that of Agua De Coco - and when  saw this ad campaign for their Spring/Summer 2013 Collection, I fell in love! Like seriously I like died! If this doesn't get you excited for stunning weather and laying on the hot sand then I don't know what will.

For all the fashionistas up north - I'm sorry you have to wait until next year.

But as for me - I couldn't be more excited for Summer to come - Bring on the heat!!!

Behind The MASC

As you may know, my enthusiasm for minimalist look is a never-ending story, especially those were made by emerging young designers. It is undeniable that they tend to deliver certain twist along with astonishing tailored elements which always got me inspired.

Looking towards MASC, a London based womenswear label founded in 2011 by designers Duncan Shaw and Billy Yick, takes us to a signature aesthetic that explores extraordinary cutting techniques, luxurious fabrics and expressive drape. Based on that idea, their latest Autumn Winter 2012 collection, entitled Shadow Box (scroll down for video and pictures), obviously comprises of signature folding techniques, sharp tailoring and silhouette manipulation, all infinitely refined into those classic colors.
Definitely one to watch.
