Durban has been lucky to be experiencing some lovely weather lately, & I have to tell you that I am not complaining about all the sunshine we've been getting! I don't have to pack away my shorts shorts just yet!

I'm sure you've noticed that I am trying something a bit different with the layout, or rather the pictures. I kind of like the idea of making it look like a magazine spread. Who doesn't love magazines?! Be on the look out for more small changes here & there. Change is good. We are the change we seek. And if I don't change & evolve, then I'll be waiting for change & growth forever.

Accessory Haul: X Factor

Accessory haul from X Factor at Musgrave Centre! I just had to share with all you lovelies these super fab pieces that cost me no more than R80 a piece!! Yes Im telling the truth?! But it does sound kinda crazy when you see how cool they are.

I took the photos with the Calvin Klein ad campaign featuring Lara Stone as the backdrop. Lovely right?! The minimalism of Clavin Klein as a brand, & the black & white shots make for a great contrast.

Neon Rope Necklace OBSSESSION!!! I finally got my hands on a few pieces from the Cassandra Featonby Smith collection from Mr Price. Now in case you didn't know, I studied Fashion Design & one of my classmates was Cassie. So I was even more excited about this Project Collection by Mr Price! So awesome!!! Anyway, I also found the super cute neon undies from Mr Price! Can you say LOVE!!!! What do you guys think about my look? Let me know :)

Perfect Pairings - Nine West & KLuK CGDT

It had to be an awesome collaboration when one of my favourite accessory brands, Nine West & dynamic South African design duo KLuK CGDT put together an amazing show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Africa 2012, which was  held at Melrose Arch in Johannesburg.

 

J'adore this collection by Malcolm Kluk & Christian Gabriel Du Toit, who were inspired by colonial life in Kenya in the 30�s and the South China Seas. The accessories of choice when it came to completing the look were Nine West summer favourites, Topshoe & Freespirit.

I have always been a Nine West fan, bags, purses, shoes - I love them all. So it is no surprise to me that I am DROOLING over the Nine West TOPSHOE!!! I love the block heel & contrast colour strap. Pastels Pastels Pastels!!! I love this look! I made this pastel pink peplum skirt a few weeks ago - if you haven't see my YouTube Fabric Haul video - click here to see all the fabric bought. And expect to see more DIY items I have done soon. If you remember my saying that I am unlikely to wear pastels from head to toe - but surprisingly enough, I quite like this pretty look. And more importantly I'm getting to wear these shoes after having them for weeks already!
