OOTD: John Lennon Sunnies

Vintage John Lennon Sunglasses | Crop Turtleneck (ASOS) | Floral Skirt (YDE) | Leather Sandals (ZOOM) | Ring & Earrings (Sass Diva) | Vintage Bracelet | Bag (Mr Price)

Today's look is my fav floral dress from Milla @ YDE, worn as a skirt. I bought these super cute John Lennon sunnies from the iheartmarket last week, and was so excited to wear them! What do you think of my look? Its a bit different for me, but then again I don't have a set style (in my opinion).

MONOCHROME MONDAY #4

I have to tell you guys, I absolutely LOVE this project!!! I am really enjoying dressing in black & white every Monday. It has really become something for me to look forward to each week.

So I spent my Sunday afternoon in the mall after a night out to see South African artist AKA. I had such an AMAZING time, which means I was super tired. Nevertheless my Sunday afternoon mall trip produced some FABULOUS pieces that I just had to share.

So I found a great popcorn knit at Young Designers Emporium (YDE). This gorgeous knit is by Pari & Max. Can you say : AMAZING!!! My trip to YDE also led me to a lovely black & blue snakeskin clutch from Taken by Storm. The leggings I am wearing today are from the FLY HOLMES collection at Mr Price. So what do you think?

Now you will notice my photos today are a little different. Well that's because a photographer friend, Abhi shot my pictures :) You can check out his work here. So let me know what you think by commenting below:

Brett's FAB FINDS: YDE

A trip to the mall this weekend produced 2 items I am very excited about. First, a super cute cropped T by Milla Girl - Yes, I bought it from the Tween section, I simply could not help myself. I love the bright pop of colour. Expect to see me wearing this one out! The next fab find this week, is a lovely poly-knit jacket from Miss Port. Craig Port is one of my favourite South African designers, and I simply love his Miss Port range. Needless to say this is not my first purchase from this label. Now, I seldom find that you can see the true beauty of a garment on the hanger. But here are a few photographs of them hanging anyway. What do you think?

Jacket: Miss Port @YDE R450

Top: Milla Girl @YDE R260

Clothes were meant to be worn on the best hanger forms ever - US!!! So you see the difference once they're on? I'm gonna be wearing this jacket all winter! Excited!!!

Take care fashionistas
