I'm back to doing everything I used to, loving life as ever.

Hi there to all my favourite fashionistas!!! Im back!!!

And where have I been you may ask? Well, not to make excuses for my lack of posts, but work has had me in a tizz!!! First there was launching Winter 2012, then a trip to a small town for the opening of a new store. Exhausting right?! Plus, I am about to adventure into unfamiliar territory with a new job!!! I have so much to look forward to right now, and it truly feels amazing. I am slowly ticking things off the To Do List of My Life :)

Here are a few pix from my work trip. I worked and played really hard :)

How to wear a Sleeveless Sweater in Winter?

For those of you who aren't sure what a sweater vest is, it's a sleeveless top made from natural or man-made fibers in a knit stitchbasically, & has the color and weight of a sweater without the long, tubular arms. Some vests have buttons, some have zippers and some are open at the front. A sleeveless sweater that's one piece of fabric back and front is called a vest too.

Sleeveless sweaters only work as hard as the clothes paired with them, so don't just throw one on over a pair of jeans and hope for the best. Cold temperatures call for warm outfits that still make you look like the fashionista you are. That look can work with a sleeveless sweater, as long as you have the right pieces to set it off.

I hope this was helpful.

Please do comment & let me know what you think!

Think warmth. Pulling on a sleeveless sweater without something under it can only lead to hypothermia and worst-dressed awards.

Go BRIGHT. Pair a bright sleeveless sweater with tights in the same shade or a pair of dark denim jeans. You can even add a black skirt that stops an inch or three above your knee, dark boots and a white button-down shirt with French cuffs and collar under the sleeveless sweater for an updated, but classy, look.

?

I love this Chicos sleeveless sweater!
?

Try jeans and a long sleeved T-shirt with your sleeveless sweater. If the sweater is dark, use a colored T-shirt to add a bit of brightness to your look in the dreary weather. If it's bright, stick with a white T-shirt.

Add a sleeveless sweater to tights and a long-sleeved shirt in the same shade -- but only if the sleeveless sweater is at least thigh length. Cute boots or heels, a scarf and and some earrings complete the look. Try to find accessories that complement your sweater.

Cinch a belt around your waist if you're thin and under your bust if your hips are a little larger. Choose one that matches another piece in your outfit, but not the sleeveless sweater, for the best effect.

Dolce & Gabbana Autumn/Winter 2011/2012 Fashion Show

Watching Milan Fashion Week on FTV the other day, it was hard to miss Dolce and Gabbana present their stunning new collection for Autumn/Winter 2011/2012 . The two designers have met the expectations of the experts who are admiring the collections that we will wear in the next winter . Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have taken everything thats in the female and male, and have made a collection which, however, is not androgynous. This time the result is cheerful and light-hearted in which the detail makes the difference.

On the catwalk alternate pinstripe suits to adhere totally dresses, made of lace or floral prints, and socks worn with shoes (strictly high heels of course). The trousers, with a classic vest for men comes in the scene before the bustier-dress with musical notes. Also interesting are the pants straight from the shoulder straps, and skirts worn with a blouse star-in-musical fantasy. They mixed menswear into the girls wardrobes for Autumn/Winter with drop-crotch pinstripe trousers, cutaway waistcoats and huge bright yellow or pink blazers worn with trilbies perched on the back of the carefully coiffed hair a tribe of Eighties mods to take the girls out partying.

And they have plenty to wear on the big night the black and white star print came on stretchy dresses with lace panels, in sequins on disco shifts and in fur on black and white jackets, and then it was interspersed with a print of a musical score on chiffon dresses, flat clutch bags and Eighties style pointed heels (worn with bobby socks). There was glitter everywhere from the blazer lapels to the huge star-shaped earrings, curvy shift dresses to miniature handbags that were attached to waistbands in a reinvention of the bumbag with bigger ones carried alongside them.

The house signature a fabulous finale was as good as ever as the girls trooped out either in their black and white star dresses or as boys in white shirts, black trousers and braces it made you want to join the party as a boy, or a girl, or both.
