I DON'T NEED A MAN

Pussycat Dolls have got to be one of my all-time favourite groups. I love how gorgeous, sexy, and fun they are. Plus they make music that I love to dance to. One of my absolute favourite PCD songs has got to be "I don't need a man". I've always been somewhat of a feminist, in the sense that I have always seen myself and women in general as equals to men. I've never been the type of female to back down or keep quiet or dumb myself down for fear that a man will challenge me, not respect my opinion or even not like me because I give myself a voice & stand up for what I believe. 

I don't need a man to make it happen

Nicole Scherzinger for London Fog AW 12

After spending a year going �Mad� with Christina Hendricks as the face of their print ad campaigns, outerwear brand London Fog has added a little �X Factor� to their promos by bringing in former Pussycat Doll and current X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger to be the new face of London Fog.



I have to admit that I love Nicole in the ad campaign photographs. Stunning! What do you think?

Designer Nicole Miller*

American fashion designer Nicole Miller caught my eye the other day when I posted my Look of the Week: Nicole Scherzinger. And then I thought to myself, why have I not posted anything about this designer before, it's not as if I didn't know who she was?! And so, here we are.

Nicole Miller's signature style has historically been black or boldly colored�with the cut of the clothes most important. Her main concern has always been proportions, curves and necklines. Her designs are known to be sexy, yet classic. Her styles range from body-conscious cocktail dresses, to wedding attire, to lounge wear, but she is best known for her form-flattering dresses. Miller draws inspiration from a wide range of influences including cinema, contemporary art, mid-20th century cinema, contemporary art, mid-20th century architecture and exotic cultures.

I love her work, and it's no suprise she has just over 20 boutiques all over the United States. Below are a few pieces from Miller's collection.

Look of the Week: Nicole Scherzinger

You have got to love Nicole Scherzinger in this watercolour strapless knit wrao dress by Nicole Miller.  Designer Nicole Miller really takes a different approach to colourblocking, with large panels of grey & coral. I love the coordinating platforms, & her trademark long, sleek hair.

Nicole wore this look when she appeared on Live with Regis & Kelly earlier this week to promote her upcoming stint as a judge on the U.S. version of X Factor, but also to promote her single, "Dont Hold your Breath"
