Rihanna does Armani.. AGAIN!

Rihanna has yet again teamed up with Armani Jeans to design their second collection together. The collection is true to Rihanna's chilled, dressed-down style.

According to Mr Armani, "Rihanna captures the young, contemporary essence of Armani Jeans perfectly". I couldn't agree more, Riri is such a dynamic, charismatic personality its no wonder fashion houses are so eager to collaborate with her.

Here are the sketches for the much anticipated collection:

Are you as excited as me to see the final products???
Yes please!!!

And the Bride wore ARMANI!!!

Prince Albert of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock were finally married after much anticipation. Not as much as the wedding of William & Kate, but anticipation none the less. And when Miss Wittstcok walked down the aisle she wore nothing but the best... Mr Georgio Armani himself! And might I add it was a beautiful gown. The boat neckline perfectly complimented Charlene's rather broad swimmer shoulders. Mr. Armani designed Princess Charlenes off-white duchess silk gown. According to a statement from the designers company, the front of the gown was embroidered with flowers, gold-colored stones, crystals and mother-of-pearl teardrops. The neckline was rather eye-catching, severe almost, with an asymmetrical cross-over that seemed intended as a modernizing effect. I found that detail a bit cold. But, overall, the dress was a sophisticated style for a glamor capital.

The wedding was attended by Karl Lagerfeld, along with Noami Campbell, Karolina Kurkova, and many more famous faces. I have to say, Naomi looked so sophisticated and stylish. I loved her dress. Karolina on the other hand looked like she she fire her stylist. I didnt like anything about her look!

What did you think of the Monaco Royal Wedding? And most importantly, the dress!

David Beckham to launch his own line*

Following in the footsteps of his fashion designer wife, David Beckham will be launching his own collection - a range of men's bodywear comprising underwear and relaxed separates.

Beckham's collaboration with Armani grossed an estimated turnover of  16 million (14.1 million) in 2007, and 31 million (38.7 million) in 2008. This time, he has teamed up with business partner Simon Fuller, and will also be launching a new fragrance - Homme by David Beckham. It looks as if we can expect more underwear-clad billboards of Beckham in the near future.

Beckham told WWD that his team has spent lots of time working on perfecting the fit, style, and fabrication to ensure the product looks & feels the absolute best. Which will of course result in awesome sales. I do look forward to seeing what designer Becks is made of. If Victoria's line is anything to go by, Im sure I will love it!

How to wear the Denim Shirt*

I am absolutely loving the denim shirt right now. It's so versatile, & there are so many different styles available. I just got a great longer length denim shirt that I intend wearing with my other favourite thing..leggings! I found myself thinking, how else will I wear this shirt... And I imagine many of you bought the shirt thinking you are gonna make it your must-have item etc. But do you really know how to put great looks together with your denim shirt?

I tried this look a few weeks ago with a dark wash denim shirt. I paired it with a floral skirt & boots. I think I looked pretty good. What do you think?

Here are some other looks I put together for you & your denim shirt.

I really like this look, & i see myself wearing my new denim shirt mostly this way. Leggings are the perfect match for a longer length denim shirt. If you follow this blog, you would've seen my post on How to wear a shirt over Leggings. And if you didn't, well i stressed that your butt should be covered by your top, as you can see below.

The next look is a great casual look. I paired the denim shirt with a pair of shorts & a top similar in colour to the denim shirt. I loved that this shirt was quite washed out. Denim does not necessarily mean blue*

This look below is very similar to my look above, except this is a dress. I think this look can be worn to college, the mall, a party, anywhere really. This is quite casual, but with different accessories it can really be dressed up.

The look below is a little more dressy than the ones above. I paired the fitted denim shirt with a matte, sequins skirt. I added some colour with the shoes & belt. This could be a good work look. Obviously depending on the kind of environment you work in :)?

My last look is the denim shirt paired with a pair of black skinny pants. This is another look that can be dressed up or down. Swapping the heels for flats will take you from smart casual to casual chic. Love the pop of colour in the bag, top, & shoes. And who doesn't love Armani sunglasses?!

I hope this was helpful to you. Have fun wearing your denim shirts*
