CHINA Travel Diary

Finally! I am posting some random snaps from instagram & camera from my last trip to China/Hong Kong. I will be posting the much requested post about my job later this week as well, but just wanted to share some of these pictures as well. 

I've been to China a few times now, & I feel like every time I travel there I experience it very differently - even though I pretty much visit the same places. On this trip I got to spend a bit of time in Yiwu at the most amazing accessory market you have ever seen! Those parts of mainland China are so different to anything you will ever see in South Africa, it's amazing & full of culture. The Chinese are full of culture & tradition. It's so funny, if you follow me on Instagram you will know how obssessed I was with my flower crowns. Well, the people in China believe that someone is going to die if you wear white/black flowers - & here I was walking around making a fashion statement. I got lots of stares (not unusual as I look very different to them) & my supplier (in China) got many questions! lol

DJZINHLExLEGIT Travel Diary [JHB]

Here are a few snaps from my trip to Johannesburg with LEGIT. This was all in honour of the DJ Zinhle X Legit collaboration that launch for Summer 2013. It was so much fun spending time with lovely blogging girls, drinking champagne, & even getting a DJ lesson from DJ Zinhle herself! I have to add that she is such a lovely lady! The absolute sweetest, most genuine person!

RIRI Hearts MAC Fall Collection

YAY RiRi Hearts MAC is finally here! I have been so excited for this collection! In New York & Dubai I was asking the MAC girls when it's launching (in the hopes that it would be sooner than South Africa) but alas not. Anyway, on the day it launches in South Africa - not only was I not sure of the date, but I also happened to be having a busy day at the office. So there I sat while twitter & instagram was ablaze with pictures! I was experiencing serious FOMO! So I rushed to MAC after work & could not find the Talk That Talk & RiRi Woo lipsticks! I was so sad. I literally shed a few tears! How could they be SOLD OUT? Then an amazing amazing friend went to another branch & quickly got them for me - LUCKILY!! Well, I'm sure you can tell by my pictures - I'M EXCITED!!! I actually wore the TALK THAT TALK today, & it looked great on me, however in a photograph with my Nikon it almost drained the colour from my face. Anyway, I will post pictures that I take specifically for  a review on them. For now, feast your eyes! xx
