What's your style???

If you have seen my previous post appealling for readers to share their Spring/Summer Style with Fashion by Brett Robson, this is the product of that appeal. I had hoped for more of a response, but I am hoping you will see this post and send me a pic or 2 of your Spring/Summer Style soon.

First up I have Sloane, a beautiful young lady with a funky, edgy sense of style. I just love this girl's hair.. Very cute!

Next up we have Lenice. I just love how fun this girl is. She just looks like someone who is keen to experiment with her style, and have fun with it.

You just cant go wrong with a pair of denims & a white top!

And last, but not least, there's me. I decided that this Spring/Summer I want my style to be a little more feminine. I plan on wearing lots of dresses, florals & wedges etc. First I have a simple day look. I am so in love with this floral you have no idea!

Next up is an evening look. Although I think this dress could be worn in the daytime with a pair of flats. I made this dress by the way :) I love these Aldo platform wedges. Im obssessed! I accessorised this look with wedges, and a leopard print clutch.

Bring on the heat!!!

I am just loving the Gottex Cruise '12 Swimwear collection!!! I absolutely cannot wait to hit the beach this summer!

What's your Spring/Summer Style?

Today is the 1st day of Spring and I am uber excited. This is my favourite time of year. I love wearing pretty dresses, going to the beach, and drinking lots of cocktails! I got a super cool idea from a fellow blogger, and I want you to be apart of it!

Here's is what I need from you: I would like you to send me a picture of yourself rocking your Spring/Summer Style. Tell me a bit about you & your style, and what you are wearing in the picture you send. The picture does not need to be professionally taken, but it should be of a descent quality. Habits @ Cape Town Fashion Week

An array of sweet, fruity colours tailored into well hemmed suits which gradually graduated into billowing floral printed, colour-splashed maxis; let�s not forget thigh-high effects,halters and off shoulders. Effective colour blocking which suddenly disappeared and then it was an all white affair on the runway- knowing well that white as a choice of colour could be a hit or a miss, I loved what Habits did with the fabric. Again, the choice of colours used at habits were absolutely spot-on.

Dax Martin @ Cape Town Fashion Week

Dax Martin nailed this collection with beautiful prints from pixelated prints to digital prints and soft floral prints of the Japanese cherry blossom. I simply love that he is adding something different with these prints. I was really excited when I saw this collection. As someone who sees herself in the swimwear design field in the future, I can really admire his work and take notes. Loved this collection! I would say it was my second best next to Gavin Rajah!

Leigh Schubert @ Cape Town Fashion Week

I love Leigh Schubert's style. It's always so soft and feminine. Leigh Schubert�s spring/summer colour palettes featured brown, grey, musky pink, nudes and muted tones in sheers and silks. The garments showed off panelled designs, pleats and colour blocking revealing the contemporary woman who is unabashed and proud of her figure and femininity.

Dr REY Lingerey...

Who knew everyone's favourite DR 90210 doc had his own line of lingerie?!

I was going through the pictures from Cape Town Fashion Week and came across his collection. At first I didn't even know who the designer was, I just thought the name was interesting. No doubt Dr Rey got some help from his wife Haley. Talk about multi-talented!

I like the collection a lot. Just wished he ditched the leather pants! Here are some pics...
